Obituary of Angèle Georgette Bangs

Bangs, Angèle Georgette Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home on Saturday, July 19, 2014, she was in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Bangs. Cherished mother of Vivian Scinto (Mario) of Sudbury, Doug Bangs (Belinda) of Mattawa, Lois Lalonde (Jake) of Newmarket, David Bangs (Libby) of Perth and Steven Bangs of Lyn. Proud grandmother of Tom Scinto (Lonnie), Paul Scinto (Paulina), Andrew Bangs, James Smith, Marc Smith, Justin Smith, Kaitlin Bangs, René Lalonde, Justin Lalonde, Emilie Lalonde, Sarah Bangs, Donovan Bangs, Lindsay Bangs and one great-granddaughter Alexandra-Marie Scinto. Survived by her siblings Emmanuel Perras, Denise Gauthier, René Perras all of Buckingham and sister-in-law Sister Doris Bangs of Ottawa. Angèle is predeceased by her two children Marie and Peter Bangs, her siblings Raymonde, Bernadette, Françoise, Agathe, Charles-Emile, Gerard, Marcel, André. Family will receive friends at the Martyn & Sloan Mattawa Chapel on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery following the service.
