Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, she was in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Sykes. Loving mother of Michael Sykes, Allan Sykes (Jo-Anne) all of North Bay and Richard Sykes (Julia) of Vancouver. Cherished grandmother of Crystal, Olivia, Mason, Cassie and great-grandmother of Brayden. Phyllis is predeceased by her son Llyod and great-grandson Caleb. She is also survived by her sister Marie Greensides. Family will receive friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23 (150 First Ave. North Bay, ON) on Saturday, March 30th from 2 - 5:00 PM. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations to charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Funeral arrangements entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME.
