Obituary of Gordon Robert Wall

After a long and valiant struggle with Alzheimers disease Butch died peacefully at Waters Edge Care Community on Thursday September 10, 2015 at the age of 76 years. The dearly beloved husband of Merry (nee Sayer), Butch will be lovingly remembered by his children Joanna and Jason both of Toronto and Christopher (Karen) and Jody all of North Bay. Also lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Jane and his sisters Gloria Glowach and Carol Venasse and his brothers Danny (Angie) and Michael (Sandra). He was predeceased by his brothers Bruce and Jimmy. Born and raised in North Bay Butch was a long time Firefighter with the city fire department. A dedicated husband and father, he had also been an avid golfer. Cremation will take place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. A private family memorial service will be held at the Martyn Funeral Home. A public celebration of Butch’s life will be held on Saturday October 3 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 23 from 2-5 pm. If desired donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
