Obituary of Sheila Ann Scandlen

Scandlen, Sheila. Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2014. Sheila was the beloved wife of the late Donald Francis Scandlen, she was 77 years old. Loving mother of Derrick (Jane) of Invermere, BC, Doug (Janine) and Janet of Kincardine. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Courtney, Brandon, Matthew, Samantha and Emily. Dearly loved sister of Helen (Bob Boyuk), William Bush, both of Dowling, and Stephen Bush (Connie) of Mississauga. Sheila was predeceased by her parents Richard and Frances Bush and by her brother Richard. She worked for Bell Canada for over 32 years. Sheila and Don were active members of their community as members of the East Ferris Golden Age Club and the Over 50 Club in Callander, and Sheila was a member of the Bell Pioneers and the Seniors Goodtime Curlers. Sheila’s family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, March 14th, 2014 from 12pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
