Obituary of Gordon Tullis Ross
ROSS, Gordon Tullis M.D., Emeritus - Dec. 6, 1919 - Jan. 20, 2013 - Dr. Ross passed away peacefully, at home with Inez, his soul mate of 62 years, by his side. Born: Vineland Station, Ontario, December 6, 1919. Graduated: U.W.O. (medicine) 1945. Gordon was a dedicated practitioner who practiced medicine in North Bay for 55 years. Life member of the Ontario Medical Association and the Medical Protective Association. Service: Canadian Army. Son of the late William Alexander Ross and Flora Gertrude Reesor Clendenning. Predeceased by brother Dr. Douglas Alexander Ross (Ede), (Victoria BC). Survived by brother Dr. Roderick Clendenning Ross (Joan Winters) (Oshawa, ON), sister Dorothy Margaret Plewman (late W. Howard) Toronto and sister in law Jessie Irva Caldwell, (G.A.) Victoria BC. Cherished Uncle Gord and Uncle Gordie to many nieces and nephews. Married Inez Elizabeth Brown, April 8, 1950, Brampton, Ontario. Visitation will take at the Ross home, 240 Lakeside Drive., Friday, January 25, 2013 from 2 until 5 p.m. Service to take place on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at St. Andrew's United Church 2 p.m. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
