Obituary of George Witiuk

WITIUK – George Peacefully with his family, at the North Bay Regional Hospital on Thursday November 22, 2012, while in his 89 year. George was the devoted and loving husband of Margaret (nee Clarke), and together this past August 1st they celebrated 65 years of marriage. The dear father of Steve and his wife Jane of Mount Vernon, New York. He is also survived by David. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandson Jason and his wife Sara of Toronto. A life- long resident on North Bay George was one of the six children born to Alex and Katherine Witiuk. Survived by his brother Philip (Norma) of North Bay and his sister Mary Charbonneau (Wilmer) of Nova Scotia, he was predeceased by brothers John and Mike and sister Sadie. For over 25 years George worked for CN Rail in the track maintenance department. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday from 2- 4 & 7-9pm.
