Obituary of Dorothy Mae Ford

FORD – Dorothy Mae (nee Wilson) Peacefully at Nipissing Manor Care Giving Centre on Monday October 29, 2012, while in her 94th year. Born and raised in North Bay Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late J.T. and Grace Wilson. Predeceased by her brothers Bert, George, Cliff, and John, and her sisters Pat, Rena, and Vera, she will be sadly missed by her only surviving sister, Jean Wilson of North Bay. Dorothy will also be fondly remembered by her nephew Bud Johnston (Colleen) of North Bay, her nieces Megan Torfe (Tony) of Peterborough, and Debbie Rich (Louis) also of North Bay, her nephew Bob Willouby (Brenda) of Peterborough as well as several of the Wilson family nieces and nephews in Sudbury. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday afternoon, November 2nd, from 1:00pm until time for a memorial service to be held in the chapel at 2:00pm. Interment of ashes will follow in the Wilson family plot, Terrace Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
