I just changed screens inbetween so I don't know if my message was posted. Linda and I have been friends for a number of years and worked together. We enjoyed each other's sense of humour as well as sharing stories. With knowing I am repeating myself, I'll say it again that Linda and I would share a drink after work sometimes and she would tell me what David and the twins were doing and we would complain about work and laugh about it. She in North Bay, me in Toronto, just a couple of girlfriends having a drink together. We enjoyed those times and I think of Linda still. I love her and my though are with David and the twins. Mave

Linda will be missed so much. A flood of memories come back of Linda's smile, laugh and zest for life. I met Linda starting school at Queen Elizabeth (over 40 years ago!) and we grew up going to brownies, moving on to Percival High school and having the time of our life! Linda was so much fun and a prized member of just about every school team at Percival! Those floor hockey, basketball, and full tackle football games(even in the snow) and cheerleading wouldn't have been the same without Linda! It was so wonderful for so many of us to get together in Val d'Or at the last Perci-St Joe reunion and sad Linda will not be with us for the next…Rest in peace, Linda. To Linda's family, please accept my deepest sympathy and know that Linda will always have a warm place in my heart.

Running from the hot sauna, stumbling over toys in the boathouse, into the black darkness, jumping into the lake, having the sand swept from under our feet, falling backwards, floating on our backs, looking up at the summer sky full of stars....as we pondered life, all the while giggling like little school girls, just like we were when we met 25 years ago. One small moment in time that reminds me of how Linda would seize the moment, make it fun and be genuine. A bright life passing thru whose glow will continue to shine in all of us. It says something, when you remember someone you met and worked with, some 30 years ago.
I met Linda when she started work at the LCBO head office. We were both newbies, both at the beginnings of our career - and what I remember most was Linda's approach to this new environment: whereas most of us tread carefully, cautious - Linda was different, she employed the 'no fear, take me as I am' approach. She stood out in the crowd, she was down to earth, she was full of laughter ..
I still remember Linda.

I was married this year on a beautiful day in August to my high school sweet heart Nicole. It was such a special day for so many reasons. One of the amazing memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life is the attendance of my Aunt Linda. She almost seemed to have a glow that day, and she seemed to have a great time celebrating with so much of her loving family. I can't help but smile when I think of how proud she looked as she partied with her husband David and her twins; Emma and Ethan.
Nicole and I are very saddened by her death, but feel so fortunate to have our memory of her apart of our big day. It is how I will always remember such a special person.
Rest in peace Aunt Linda, and thank you for the memories.

My dear childhood friend,
So many memories flood in when I think of you. The best part for me was being able to see your house from our house, knowing you were a mere block across the boulevard. Thanks to Steven's record collection, we became avid fans of the Rolling Stones "Exile on Main Street" & John Lennon's "Imagine". We knew the words to every single song.
We liked being "tomboys" and playing football on the boulevard with the guys. I loved going to your cottage and swimming in the cold cold lake and jumping in the sauna. Come to think of it, you introduced me to the art of relaxation in a sauna. I remember you as a kind, and gentle person, and always lots of fun to be around. It was great growing up wih you!

To David, Emma and Eathen, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Linda for the last 4 years. I will never forget her. My first day of work, she came right up to me, introduced herself and took me under her wing until I found my own way.
