August 4, 1939 - September 16, 2012
After a short, brave bout with cancer, Bud died peacefully at his home in Callander. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Mary, his children, Kimberly Lawrence, Sandra Reid (Jason) and his grandson Conner Reid. Bud was predeceased by his son, Jimmy, in 1978. Bud was an affiliate member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #445 in Callander. Bud loved the outdoors, sports, puzzles, telling jokes, playing pool and his family. A Memorial Service will be held at the Knox United Church on Saturday, September 22nd at 1:30 P.M. A Reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion (Callander) at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Knox United Church or a Charity of Choice would be appreciated by Bud's family. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com
