Obituary of Barbara Jean Parks

PARKS, BARBARA JEAN At Cassellholme on Sunday September 2, 2012 in her 85th year. Dear wife of the late William ‘Dinty’ Parks. Loving mother of sons Chris and Herb (Mary Beth) Parks. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Sara, Beau, Kassandra, Katie, Cayla, Pete and Ty. Predeceased by her brother Jerry White. Barb is a long-time resident of North Bay and an avid athlete. She was active in city basketball and with the city ski team. She participated in the Snow Queen Pageant at 17 years of age and she was also proud of a photo taken of her with the Dionne Quintuplets. Her husband Dinty, was a well-known wrestler and owner of the Sunset Park Motel.
