Our thoughts and prayers are with you Beverley and your families. I was one of the very fortunate young teachers, in addition to thousands of students, to have been mentored by your mother. My three years at O'Brien School, under her leadership as principal,gave opportunity to learn many lessons which have lasted a lifetime.

Dear Beverly and family, God really must've needed her voice in his choir to take our beautiful Bea from us (especially in the same year that he received our friend June into his Kingdom). How I will miss her! She led me through many a trying, emotional time in my life and shared many, many times of laughter (we'd laugh so hard we'd tear up and then laugh again at how 'naughty' we'd been!). There was no mention of an age difference -- she was forever young in heart, mind and spirit. I'm sure she had more stories yet to write, alas now she'll have to share them with the angels... until we see her next. She'll have God's gardens all planted and weeded to perfection with Julie sitting at her side in the shade of a magnificent oak tree. Please accept my deepest condolences. Bea is irreplaceable in ways too numerous to count. Her legacy is and forever will be 'love yourself, love God, and love the World'. With hugs - Marla

Marla Hayes made a donation to Cystic Fibrosis Canada
My dear friend Bea will be missed so much by so many for her loving, generous heart and spirit. One of the things I will miss the most is hearing her laughter over a good joke or some silliness on the news and working with her on a writing project... and playing Mexican dominoes. I can still see that gold train decoration that we used in the game. She gave great hugs!
