Obituary of Wendell Morris Miller

MILLER: Wendell Morris April 9, 1932 – August 4, 2012 It is with great sorrow that the family of Wendell Miller announces his passing on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Left behind is his wife, Jean Annie (nee Clark). He will also be missed by his children Robert and his wife Christine of Restoule, Jerry and his wife Wendy of Agincourt, Glen and his wife Mary-Beth of Lively, Jeffrey and his wife Sheree of Markham and Andrew and his wife Lisa of Brooklyn. Predeceased by his infant son Ricky. Also left behind are his 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Desmond and Percy. He was predeceased by his parents Percy and Ruby Miller and by his siblings Norma, Godfrey, Merton and Stanton. Wendell worked as a heavy equipment operator and welder for Lafarge Canada for 33 years retiring in 1997. He was a fine craftsman and spent many hours creating wood miniatures that are treasures to those that possess them. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Thursday from 2 -4 and 7 - 9:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 10th at 11:00 am. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
