LUXTON - Bruce Ray
Bruce’s family sadly announces his unexpected death on Saturday July 7, 2012, at the age of 66 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lynn (Thompson), his children Jan Thompson of Sudbury, Jamie Anderson (Colleen) of Callander, Carol Bailey of Kitchener, and Tanner Clement (Val) of Astorville; and his grandsons Dillon Anderson and Patrick Bailey. He will also be sadly missed by his canine walking buddy “Scooter”. Born and raised in North Bay Bruce was predeceased by his parents Ruby & Cliff Grieves and Hazel Wall, and his brother Jimmy. He is also survived by his siblings Danny Wall (Angie), Butch Wall (Mary), Michael Wall (Sandra), Gloria Glowach and Carol Venasse (Gary). Bruce was a welder and mechanic by trade. A talented welder he worked for Acme Welding and J.S. Mechanical in North Bay, was employed in pipeline construction with several companies, and operated his own company, Luxton Mobile Welding, for several years. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home to share their memories of Bruce on Tuesday afternoon and evening, July 10th, from 2- 4 & 7 – 9pm. Cremation will follow the visitation.
