Dorothy was a wonderful welcoming surprise when I first found my way to St Andrew's Church in 2000. I was in a period of discernment at that point in my life, and St Andrew's had agreed to 'walk with me' during this time. Dorothy quietly engaged me in conversation after learning my name, showing a genuine interest in my 'spiritual travels.' She also shared with me, and through her sharing I experienced a progressive-thinking, strong and gentle woman of faith. It was a privilege to know her. May the Spirit bless you in this time of remembering and giving thanks for a life well-lived. Peace to you.....

The loss of a loved one is never easy. The loss of our parents might mark the true end of childhood, for they are no longer on the path ahead of us, no longer within easy reach. They do, however, continue to walk beside us. Condolences to you all, and heart felt wishes that sorrow will be replaced with laughter and fond memories of times past and happy moments spent with your much loved mother.

I've just learned about your the passing of your mom. I am so sorry, and I want you to know that my thoughts are with you all. Please accept my condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. Your mom was a very special person, and I will always have the fondest memories of her. She had the best sense of humour and a great deal of compassion at the same time not to mention the wonderful support of her family.
