Obituary of Roger Gerald Lessard

LESSARD: Roger Gerard "A Free Caring Spirit " Passed away after a brief battle with cancer, on Saturday, May 19th, 2012, at the Mattawa Hospital. Roger was the beloved husband Sylvie Plante, he was 53 years old. Loving father of Rachael Lessard of Mattawa. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jamie Rutledge and Isabelle Leblanc. Roger will be sadly missed by his sister Denise Lessard and her sons Michel Langlais and Dan McGale all of Sudbury. He was predeceased by his parents Gerard and Gisele Lessard. Roger worked for many years as an Auto Technician for the Minden Subaru. He enjoyed spending time boating the waterways of his corner of heaven and listening and playing music. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Paroisse Sainte Marie Roman Catholic Church (130 Hillside Drive North..Elliot Lake), on Friday, May 25th at 10:00 am.
