Sykes, Thomas Arthur
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Cassellholme, he was in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis Sykes (nee Sutherland) of North Bay. Loving father of Michael Sykes, Allan Sykes (Jo-Anne) all of North Bay and Richard Sykes (Julia) of Vancouver. Cherished grandfather of Crystal, Olivia, Mason, Cassey and great-grandfather of Brayden. Thomas is predeceased by his son Lloyd and great-grandson Caleb. He is also survived by one sister and predeceased by the rest of his siblings. A special thank you to all of the staff on the second floor at Cassellholme for their wonderful care. Family will receive friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23 (150 First Ave. North Bay, ON) on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers donations to charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Funeral arrangements entrusted to MARTYN FUNERAL HOME.
