I am sorry our family was not able to make it but know that we are thinking of you and know how hard it is,as it has only been 3 weeks since Moms passing. They say that everything happens for a reason....
Auntie Bev was one on the cheerleaders behind the Brown Family Reunion later this summer. Little did she know that she started to re-connect the family last fall! When she came to Toronto last fall to determine whether or not she would proceed with the heart surgery, this gave me the opportunity to spend time with her and Uncle Ivan, and to meet up with a cousin, Shannon, that I hadn't met before (or didn't remember meeting her a long time ago!). And then when she did come for the surgery, it gave me another great opportunity to spend with Shirley Joan, George and David.
Although this was not the outcome that she deserved, I take some comfort in knowing that she gave me the gift of re-connecting with the family, and inspiring me even more to get the Brown family together this summer and to keep in touch afterwards
God bless you Auntie Bev-you will be missed. Please say hi to Grannie, Uncle Bill and Auntie Edith.
