Tiffany and I met 11 years ago in Grade 11 at ELSS and as young teenage girls, we had our fair share of boyfriends coming and going, as most teenage girls do. A few years later Tiffany told me all about this boy she met named Scott and how he was different than anyone else she had met and that she felt like he was the one. I will never forget the first time I met Scott. Tiffany brought him out to my parent's house in Elliot Lake and Scott fit right in, and I could tell he was someone special. I remember watching him looking at her, and you could just tell in his eyes how much he loved Tiffany and I knew this guy was the one. We have been fortunate enough to have shared a lot of fun times with Scott. He was a fun, outgoing, patient and kind man. I remember joking once with Tiffany that if Scott could keep up a conversation with my husband Jamie, he was someone special. When we came to visit, Tiffany and I would take off and leave them together alone for a few hours and they always had a great time. Scott was an amazing father to Charlee and you could just feel the love he had for her just by the way he looked at her. I am so happy I got to be a part of their special day last October, which was a great celebration of the love they shared then, and the love they will continue to share for an eternity. Scott will be missed tremendously, we all loved him, he was and will always be a wonderful friend to Jamie and I. Even though he is not here physically anymore, his spirit will live on in all who were fortunate enough to have been part of his life.
We love you Scott and will NEVER forget you. Thank you for giving my Tiffany the best gift anyone could ever give and for making her happier than I could have ever imagined. May you rest in peace and watch over us and keep us safe.

To all of Scott's family & friends... I truly hope that you can all find the strength to get through such a difficult time. Anyone who had the chance to meet Scott knew he was special. He was always friendly, easy to talk to, had a positive attitude and a contagious smile. Scott and I met through mutual friends years ago and would often be off in our own conversation talking about cars and audio systems... something we both loved! I didn't get to talk to Scott much after he moved, but ran into him the odd time. He did have a chance to tell me about some exciting points in his life like getting married and becoming a daddy. Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to meet his beautiful family, but have admired many pictures. All will keep his memory alive in our hearts by remembering all the fond memories, fun times and great conversations that he shared. This is not good-bye... but rather, until we meet again. Sending all our love to you during this difficult time. Scott was taken too suddenly and too soon. He was a wonderful man and we will miss him more than words can describe. We are so lucky to have shared so many great memories with him and will carry those with us for an eternity. To: Tiffany and Scott, I'm not actually sure how to express my sympathy in this tragic situation. Your wife Tiffany was my super best friend back when we were teenagers. Scott was an incredible person. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. You don't meet many people who are as well liked as Scott was; & I will forever treasure the memories that I have with him. It is with a heavy heart that I give my condolences to the grieving family.
