Obituary of Kenneth James Stewart

Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday February 11th, 2012 in his 72nd year. He leaves behind his long time cherished partner in life, Mary Lou Eastman and her daughters Lilly Beatty (Peter), Mary Eastman, and Cheryl Eaton and his many honorary grand and great grandchildren. Ken was the eldest son of the late James and Dorothy Stewart nee Mison. Kenny will be sadly missed by his brothers Gary Stewart, Kim Stewart (Erla), Roger Stewart (Linda) and his sister Penny-Lynn Stewart MacDonald (Kevin). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers Richard and Glen Stewart and by his step daughter Wendy Bellaire. Kenny retired in 2004 from Ontario Northland Railway. Upon his retirement at age 65, he spent a number of years at the Stewart family cottage, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an avid bowler with his team for many years. Most days you could find Ken at the local Legions shooting the breeze with his many friends. In our hearts you will be remembered always, rest now and be at peace. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 am. Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
