Obituary of Janet Mary Florie Reid

REID: Janet Mary Florie Passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s, at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa, on Monday, February 6th, 2012. Janet (nee Gilbert) was the beloved wife of the late Rayford Reid and Companion of the late Milton “Mickey” Boyle, she was 83 years old. Loving mother of Wayne Reid and his wife Lise of Mattawa, Brian Reid and his wife Rita of Burlington, and Kevin Reid and his wife Sandy of Mississauga. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ryan, Brandon and Jessica-Rae. Janet was predeceased by her parents Harold and Nellie Gilbert and by her siblings. Respecting Janet’s wishes she will be cremated at the Forest Lawn Crematorium and her ashes will be interred this spring at the Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Algonquin Nursing Home – Residents Council Activity Fund would be appreciated by the family.
