Obituary of Maye Reta Jenkins

JENKINS – Maye Reta Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Thursday October 11th , 2012 at the age of 77years and following a courageous battle with cancer. Maye was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Herbert H. Jenkins, who predeceased her in 2007. The proud and loving mother of Randy Jenkins, & Terry Horseman (late Blair) both of North Bay, Donald (Bonnie) of Edmonton, and the late James (predeceased 1990). Maye will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Robert, Logan, Jared, & Melissa and her great grandson Chase. She was the dear sister of Edison of Oakville and Marg White – Turner of Pickering. She was also predeceased by her grandson Shawn, and her brothers Dawson and Lawrence. Maye will be fondly remembered by her sister in law Helen McArthur (Murray) of Timmins, and was predeceased by her sisters in law Loretta (George Gagnon of Elliot Lake), and Brenda, and her brother in law Everett Jenkins (June of Newcastle). In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday October 16th, from 10:00am until time for a memorial service in the chapel at 11:00am. Interment of ashes will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
