Obituary of Marie Rosanna McConnell

McCONNELL: Rosanna "Rose" Peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home on Saturday, December 31st, 2011. Rose (née LeClaire), was the beloved wife of the late Dave McConnell, she was 97 years old. Loving mother of Leonard Brouillard and his wife Helen of Welland, George Brouillard and his wife June of Hamilton and Theodore Brouillard of Toronto. Sadly missed by her very close niece, Antoinette LeClaire. She will be lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, by her many great grandchildren and by her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved sister of Louise Belanger of Mattawa. Rose was predeceased by her parents George and Matilda LeClaire and by her siblings Marie, Wilfred, Patrick, Harry, Macime, Noella, Janny, Ben and Joe. A Funeral Service was conducted by Father Tim Moyle at the Martyn & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" on Monday, January 2nd. Cremation followed the service and her ashes will be interred this spring in Deux Rivieres. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated by the family.
