Obituary of Gwenna Geraldine Vandusen

VANDUSEN - Gwenna Geraldine (nee (VanClieaf) Unexpectedly on Tuesday December 20 th , 2011 at the age of 84 years. Gwenna was the beloved wife of Leslie and loving mother of Murray and his wife Ingrid, of Regina, Sask., and Mona and her husband Barry LaFave of Niagara Falls. She will be missed by her grandchildren Kris, Erik, Heidi, Heather, and Scott, and her great grandchildren Joshua, Reidar, Alejandra, Erikson, Cody, and Liam. She is also survived by her brother Wilbert VanClieaf and was predeceased by four sisters and one brother. Gwenna loved quilting and enjoyed her membership in the Quilters Guild. An avid gardener she was a Life Time Member of the Horticulture Society and an accredited judge for floral arrangements. She also found time to volunteer at the hospitals, be an active member of Emmanuel United Church, be a Brownie and Girl Guide leader, and enjoy bowling. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday December 27 th from 2 –4 & 7 –9pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held in Emmanuel United Church, 395 Lakeshore Drive, on Wednesday December 28 th at 1:30pm. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
