Obituary of Greg Lawrence

Our family announces with sorrow the sudden passing of our most loved husband, father, and grandfather Greg Lawrence.He left this world in the arms of his sweetheart Isabel, his wife of 33 years, on September 30, 2011.Forever remembered by his cherished daughter Melanie Poitras (partner Jamie Murwiske, and his children Shayla and Bradly), and his most precious granddaughter Brianna Poitras who was the sunshine and rainbows in his life.Greg was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Marguerite, his in laws Ernest & Louise Veltri, Maryanne Cirullo, Susan Mulville, John Veltri, Richard Wilce, and his son James in 2002.Survived by his sister Elizabeth Hale, and in laws Janet Lawrence (Jeffrey), Frances Wilce, Mariano Cirullo, Edward Mulville, and many nieces and nephews.In keeping with Greg’s wishes cremation has taken place.Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 7:00pm until time for a memorial service to be held in the chapel at 8:00pm.In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of our choice would be appreciated by the family.Online condolences may be offered at www.martynfh.com.
