Geurtsen:Margaretha Wilhelmina Elisabeth January 1, 1921 - July 1, 2011 After a patient wait the door finally opened for Margaret and she was able to take her final journey to cross over the river Jordan. Her battle with cancer more than thirty years ago caught up with her . Her body was no longer able to keep up with her sharp mind. She was pre-deceased by her husband Gerrit (Gerry) in 1981. She is survived by her son Johan (Cynthia) and their children John (Pam) and Thea (Steve) as well as Nesta a loving great grandson. The family wish to thank the community of Cassellholme for providing a comforting last chapter to her life. A private memorial service and internment will take place at a later date.Donations may be made in her name to The Canadian Cancer Society.
