Passed away at his home on Saturday, March 12, 2011, he was 57 years old. Don was the beloved husband of the late Sandra Dee (Chicquen). He was the loving father of Angela Joanisse (boyfriend Mike Burns) of Sudbury, Adam Joanisse (girlfriend Caitlin Dobratz) of North Bay and Kayla Joanisse of Midland. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Destiny and Trista Burns, Shallyn Martel, Kiara and Brason Joanisse. Loving son of Rudolph and Erlene Joanisse. Dearly loved brother of Gary Joanisse (Joan), Rocky Joanisse, Davey Joanisse (Donna), Teddy Joanisse (Janet), Randy Joanisse (Monique), Robert Joanisse (Sharon), Richard Joanisse (Denise), Mark Joanisse (Nicky), Barbara Joanisse (Rick), Goldie Joanisse (Gilles), Wanda Belleau (Philip), Lorne King (Pauline) and Kevin King (Monique), Goldie Lamarche (Jacques). Sadly missed by Sylvia and Lemmy King. Donald worked at Inco in Sudbury for over 30 years, retiring to his hometown of Mattawa. He was an avid weight lifter and he loved playing his guitar. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home (464 Wyld Street, North Bay 705-472-8810) Cremation with his ashes to be interred in the family plot in Mattawa.
