Obituary of Jean St.AMOUR

Jean died peacefully at his home, North Bay, on Monday October 18th, 2010, after a short battle with cancer, with his loved ones by his side, at the age of 46 years.For the past 12 years he has been the devoted partner and husband of Debra (nee Woods).Dear father of Tom Palmateer & his wife Joyce of North Bay and Andrew Palmateer of Kirkland Lake, he will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Abigale & Russell Palmateer & Jaymie Nelson. He will also be sadly missed by his father Fernand St. Amour of Kamloops, B.C., his grandparents John & Helen Larocque of North Bay, brother Trevor Kates of Mexico, sister Michelle of Edmonton,his mother in law Shirley Woods of Haileybury, aunt Raymonde Corbeil of Ottawa, uncle Clayton Woods of Haileybury, aunt Danielle Witty (Tom) of Victoria, B.C., and cousins Eddie & Renee Belisle. Jean was a truck driver by profession, a career that he has thoroughly enjoyed for the past 30 years.An avid BBQ'erhe also had a love of exotic cars.In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday afternoon, October 22nd, from 2 - 3pm.
