LEVESQUE, SYLVIA E. (nee WARNER)
1934-2010 Passed away at the North Bay General Hospital (McLaren Site) on Saturday June 5, 2010 after a brief illness. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Ernest (1976) and partner Adelard (1992), her parents George and Ella Warner, as well as brothers George (Claire), Bruce (Jean) and a sister Leona (Gord). She is survived by her sons Blaine (Shirley), Neil (Gilberte) and Ron. Also survived by her brother Les Warner (Wendy), and sister Leila Lawson of Barrie as well as her loving grandchildren Roy, Myron, Jennifer, Eric, Kyle, Luc and great grandchild Izbella Ashley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sylvia was a switchboard operator for Bell Canada, and later for many years with NORAD at the underground Sage Defence Complex in North Bay. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 10-11 am. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11 am. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay General Hospital MRI Fund, or charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at martynfh.com.
