Peacefuly at the Algonquin Nursing Home on Sunday, October 5th, 2008 at the age of 96. She will be sadly missed by Larry Novack and family and her good friend Louise McOrmond. Miss Collard was born in Winnipeg Manitoba and daughter to the late Albert CoMiss Collard spent much of her working life as a freelance journalist and devoted much of her time to the Canadian Cancer Society and her community and was a long time resident of the Algonquin Nursing Home. She was known as a very nice and warm person aA cremation was held at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. By request of the family, there will be no service. A private reunion will be held at a later date.
