The Walsh family sadly announces Doug?s death at the North Bay General Hospital on Saturday November 10th, 2007 following a brief illness. For the past 56 years Doug was the beloved husband of Alva ?Toots? (Parker) whom he married at Uno Park in 1951. Th. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall) on Tuesday evening from 7 ? 9 pm. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held in St. Andrew?s United Church on WednesdayIf desired donations to St. Andrew?s United Church Memorial Fund, or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
