At North Bay General Hospital, died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday February 27, 2007 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. Best friend and beloved husband of Barbara (Armstrong) for over 50 years. Proud father of Brock (Sharon) of OakviThe family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Thursday March 1 from 7 to 9pm and Friday, March 2 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew?s United Church on Saturday, March 3 at 10:30am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations in John?s honour to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation would be deeply appreciated by the family.
