Unexpectedly, but peacefully, Mel Osborne died in his sleep at his Lake Nosbonsing (Corbeil) home on Wednesday November 8, 2006 in his 90th year. Mel was the beloved husband of 64 years to Dorothy (Janes) of Corbeil. He was the loving brother of the late The family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am Burial will follow in the Callander Union Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
