After a brief battle with cancer, at the North Bay General Hospital - Scollard site, on Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Charlie was the beloved husband of Ida Marrianna Slater, he was 83 years old. He was the loving father of Fred of Corbeil, Beverly O'ConnoVisitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 -4 and 7 - 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held from the St. Andrew's United Church on Monday, October 16th at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
