Passed away suddenly at his “Favorite Place on Earth” on Lake Talon, Ontario on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Joe was the beloved husband of Michele (nee Colantino), he was 66 years old. Loving father of Greg and Andrea. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandson Ewan. Joe will be sadly missed by his mother Jeanne D’Arc Galante (nee Collins), by his sisters Rosemary Smith (Doug) and Michele Lawrence (Paul) and by his many nieces and nephews. Joe was formerly a member of the Hamilton Fire Department. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church (440 King Street East Hamilton, Ontario) on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00 am.
