NORMAN – Winnifred Viola “Winnie”
After a lengthy illness Winnie died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, on Wednesday December 13th, 2017, at the age of 88 year. Born Winnifred Viola Keall, she was the dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Everett Clayton Norman. He predeceased her in 1991. The proud and loving mother of Kevin and his wife Judi, Dale and his wife Nicky & Gwen Parks and her husband Steve. She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shannon (Derek Lefebvre), Laura (Ed Corby), and Tiffany Parks (Alex Horvath), Sara Norman (Brad Horsfall), Samantha Norman (Josh), Melanie, Ryan and Taylor Norman and her great grandchildren Lauren and Kristen Beatty, Leah Lefebvre, Andrew Parks, Parker and Connor Corby, and Charlie and Suzie Horsfall. Winnie was the last survivor of her siblings being preceded in death by her sisters Rhena McEwen, Mabel Young, Eva White, Violet Brown, & Joyce Storie and brothers Clifford, Gordon, George, and Allan Keall. Funeral services to celebrate Winnie's life will be held in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Powassan, at 11:00am, Friday December 22, 2017. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, North Bay. The Norman family would like to offer their heartfelt and sincerest thanks to the entire staff of Eastholme for the compassionate care given, and kindness shown to both their mother and them during the ten years that Winnie made her home there. They have been able to sleep at night knowing that their mother was safe, well cared for and in a place where she was loved.
