Lalonde, Lucien Wilfred Joseph
Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa General Hospital on Monday, September 25, 2017, he was in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Coranna (nee Gauthier) Lalonde and special friend of the late Jeanne Mathieu. Cherished mother of Emile (Claudette) Lalonde, Michel (Maz) Lalonde, Francine Gillespie (Victor), Denise Labrèche and Raymond Lalonde (Jackie). Proud grandfather of John (Mel), Angie (Chris), Carrolyn (Sam), Louise (Vern), Danny (Amanda), Anastasia, Joelle, Roxanne (Kevin), Céline (Corey), Jamie (Becka), Terri, Kathleen, Kelly (John), great-grandfather of 41 great grandchildren and 8 great- great grandchildren. Sadly missed by his siblings Laurent Lalonde (Pauline) and Lea Lalonde (Bernard Stooke predeceased). Lucien is predeceased by his parents Adélard and Louisa Lalonde, grandchild Corey, and siblings Aline, Rhéa, Dolerèse, Aurèle, Fernand, Bernard and George. Respecting Lucien's wishes cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne's Church on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes or CNIB would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
