I was a nurse at St. Joseph 's hospital years ago & new Doug well & we often talked at the mall. He was always smiling & joking & met his illness with bravery & a great attitude. He was such a good worker & always cheerful. I am so sorry to have missed his service. My sympathy to his family. He was loved & will be missed. Rest in peace Doug!

Like so many other great folk I too worked with Dougie at St. Joe's. I think we all have Dougie stories we can tell with fond memories and smiles. I remember Dougie to be a hard worker, he put his heart and soul into his job and it showed..I recall telling Dougie what a great job he did once which produced an ear to ear smile and those blue eyes would dance with pride. The "laugh" who could ever forget that unique laugh heard throughout the hospital, his laugh brought joy to us his co-workers and made our day a little bit lighter, we knew that all was well in the world of St. Joseph's Hospital when we heard the infectious laugh of Doug Neddow. RIP kind sir you are fondly remembered and loved..MC

Blood means you're related, it doesn't mean your family. Dougie, you weren't a relative but you were definitely family to the Desbiens clan big guy ! Growing up you were like a an older brother to me. You, Dad, Mom and I sure had some good times. You were one of the most selfless people I've ever met and had a heart of gold ! Forever will we remember your infectious laugh. RIP my friend, you will be sorely missed.
