Passed away quietly at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday August 2, 2017 in his 90th year. Dear husband of 68 years to Helen. Loving father of Rick (wife Susan) of North Bay and Tim of Windsor. Sadly missed by 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Gerry worked as a police officer with the City of North Bay and at the North Bay Court House with the Sheriff’s office. He was also a former captain with the Algonquin Regiment Militia. Special thanks to the nurses of C-1 at the Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Gerry. No visiting or service. Cremation at the Forest Lawn Crematorium with burial of ashes at North Bay Union Cemetery. If desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
