CHRISTENSEN – Jacob Eigil
With overwhelming sorrow we announce the passing of Jacob Eigil Christensen on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit of Toronto General Hospital, Toronto., surrounded by his loving family.
Jacob was the beloved son of Mark and Ruth (Johnson) Christensen and the cherished younger brother of Sara (Christensen) Desroches , and her husband Wade. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandfather Donald Johnston, aunts and uncles Rod and Cynthia Moffitt, Walter and Cathy Johnson, Jay and Cheryl Smith, Susan Christensen, Darin and Patricia Ladd and his many wonderful cousins.
Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. October 24, 1996 Jacob and his family moved to North Bay when he was two years old. Following his graduation from Widdifield Secondary School in 2015 he attended the University of Toronto, where he was currently completing his second year of studies in Science. Jacob was an accomplished pianist, and a member of TOROS who loved to sing, dance, and act. He could light up a room with his bright smile and brilliant sense of humour. He was a kind, gentle, caring, old soul. We want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding, compassionate and expert care provided to Jacob and our family by the entire staff of the CVICU at Toronto General Hospital.
