Jean Paul Doucette
May 10, 1937 - December 5, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Paul Doucette, at the age of 87, on December 5, 2024, at McKenzie Place in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his two daughters Sylvie MacDonald (Chad) and Marceline Doucette and his six grandchildren, Jeremy Chaumont, Chelsey Beaudry, Carter Macdonald, Emma Chaumont, Logan Macdonald and Peyton Macdonald, as well as his great-granddaughter Sloane Macdonald, who he shared a special bond with each of them throughout his life.
He is also survived by his sister Linda Minor (Rudy).
Paul was deceased by his wife May Rose (Minor), his daughter Carole (Doucette), his siblings Leo Doucette, Emily Gioia and Blanche Ough and his parents Rose (Brule) and Joseph Doucette.
Paul lived a long and full life, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories. He also blessed many friends and loved ones with his sense of humour and talent of playing music.
Cremation will take place in Grande Prairie, Alberta and a service to honour his life will be held in Mattawa at a later date.
