To Sandy (Mr Hutt), Kim, Carl and Cameron.
I was so sad to hear the news about the passing of Mary last month. Mrs Hutt (and you all) were the best neighbours the Croezen's ever had when we lived on Leonard Street. I'll always remember the happy voice annd laughs of Mary when we would come over to visit or she would come over and chat with Dad and Mom, Peter and Marlene. My Mom always considered Mary one of her most dearest friends, even after when we moved to Kitchener.
I will forever cherish the times in recent years when I would call during the Christmas holidays and talk to Mary about her, Sandy, all the kids and then about my parents and our kids. She never tired of talking or listening.
Mary was a very special person and she'll be forever in my thoughts and I will miss her dearly.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
Sending our love.
Mike, Christine, Julia and Justin Croezen

Sandy, Kim, Carl and Cameron,
My most sincere condolences to all of you and your entire family on the passing of the sweetest matriarch a family could ever have. I certainly have treasured memories of my times at the tennis courts when Kim and I played together while Mary and Sandy cheered us on. I truly appreciate the warmth and kindness that Mary always showed me. May you rest in paradise dear Mary.
With love,
Robin

I first met Mary on the tennis courts at the Granite Club, way, way back. It was always a pleasure to partner with her or to play opposite her, although I was not in her league. She was always kind, fun and a lady. We would often meet around town and stop and catch up. Ray and I offer our condolences to Sandy and all the family.

Katherine and I would like to convey our sincere condolences to Sandy and family. We got to know Mary through her participation in the J.O.Y. Band and always enjoyed the quiet conversations we had with her.
Mary's obituary conveys a storied past of pleasure and memories and a legacy that will live on.
Mary was quite a lady.

Biggest long-distance hugs to all the Hutts -- Carl, Cameron, Kim and of course, Sandy, and all the little Hutts. I knew Mary well for a few years (1979-81) as I was in most of the same classes as Cameron, and I was dating Carl! Mary was unbelievably warm and funny and kind and inviting. I was always made to feel so welcome there. Her laugh was a tinkle... I can still hear it. My family moved away from North Bay in the summer of 1981 and I sometimes dropped in on Leonard Avenue going by on our way North. To see Mary!!! This is a huge loss to you guys, I know. Remember that she had a hundred thousand fans out there, and I am one of them. All my love.
