Barbara (Bonnie) Griffiths (Omand) passed away peacefully with family at her side at Cassellholme, Home for The Aged on August 22, 2024 at the age of 82. Predeceased by her loving husband and best friend Edwin (Ted) Griffiths and her son James (Jamie) Good. She is survived by her children Cam (Carrie), Bill (Jill) and Kim (Rich), stepsons Ted (Wendy) and Mitch (Jeannette); grandchildren Crystal, Daryl (Tran), Bryan (Jan), Deanna (Warren), Courtney (Paulo), Christopher, Meaghan, the late Kurtis, Nathan and Abby; great grandchildren Silas, Macie, Cora, Fiona, Juniper, Amelia and Emmett. Dear sister-in-law of David Holt and Judy Omand. Fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Bonnie was the last remaining child of 5 of Herbert and Muriel Omand (McTaggart) and is now reunited with them and her siblings Marilyn, Susan, Wayne (Butch), and Marshall.

Bonnie will be remembered as a person who valued family above all else. She taught us what it meant to love ourselves and others. She had a unique way with people and always knew the right thing to say to bring comfort and guidance, or to crack up a room with her zany sense of humour. She had a special love for children, and it brought her great joy to teach them to love nature, animals, and to not be afraid of things like spiders, snakes and toads!

Cremation has taken place and a private burial to follow.
