Gilbert Degagne, 71, of North Bay, passed away on July 24th at the North Bay Regional Health Centre with his wife by his side.
Born in Corbeil to Irene and Jerome Degagne. Gilbert was predeceased by his father Jerome.
He is survived by his wife, Gail, his mother, Irene Degagne, his siblings Denis (Rita), Marc (Claire), Luc (Guy), Marcel (Ramond), Diane and Claire(Pierre).
He leaves behind his children Stephane (Chris), Alex (Lily), Ken (Kyle), Kristen (Kevin). Also, his grandchildren, Kaleb, Emile, Sophia, Benjamin, Nova, Abel, and Luca.
Gilbert was a gentle soul and a truly remarkable person, known for his kindness. Gilbert embraced everyone, sharing his passion for playing the guitar. His music and singing brought joy to many.
There won't be another Gilbert. You are loved so deeply. May he keep playing and singing in Heaven.
