Obituary of Sherry Anne Beaulieu

Please share a memory of Sherry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with immense sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and wife, Sherry Anne Beaulieu on June 19th 2024 at 2:40pm in North bay Ontario. Sherry is predeceased by her father, Mervyn Mitchell (Margaret) and brother Bryan Mitchell (Judy). She leaves behind her treasured daughters, Tera Blackburn (Kevin) and Ashley Beaulieu as well as her devoted husband Daniel Beaulieu. She also leaves behind her loving brother Ricky Mitchell, valued nephew Scotty Mitchell (Kendra) and two cherished grand children Reese Blackburn and Benson Blackburn as well as two adoring great nephews Krew and Tyce.  She will also be missed by her extended family and close friends!

Mom had a long and difficult journey with Cancer from her original diagnosis to the endless treatments that lasted nearly 20 years. Throughout her healthcare journey, Mom will be remembered by her closest family and friends as a “warrior”. Despite all the adversity she faced, Mom was forever a positive light shining through a long relentless journey. She always found the good in every situation she faced and managed to remain optimistic, being a guiding force for those who had to witness or endured the same path she did.

She will forever be thankful for the healthcare providers that touched her heart and took such good care of her along the way. Dr. Parr, Dr. Steele, and Dr. Bowen are just a few “angels” she was blessed to meet here on earth. She would find hope and assurance in feathers, dimes and nickels because she believed in their connection to the spiritual realm that had long taken many of her close family members.

Mom had a spiritual side that guided her and she believed that everything happened for a reason. She often touched others lives with kindness. She believed that someone always had it worse than she did and never limited her thoughtfulness of others based on judgement. She loved to donate to things she believed in or people she thought needed it.

Those who knew Mom well can recount her love for nature and the outdoors, her adoration for walking and her passion for reading, crocheting and crafting. Above all she loved her family and close friends whom she deemed as honorary family. “Family is everything” she would say. She travelled a long way in a short time but her journey is not over! Until we meet again!

To commemorate Mom, we would ask that donations be made to the North Bay Serenity Hospice in order to let her love of helping others live on!

Arrangements for a celebration of life will be announce at a later date!
