Edward Charles Hazelwood Obituary
Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday June 5th at the age of 96. Eddie is survived by his dear wife Janet (McRae) and they had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Eddie was born in Mattawa on February 13, 1928, to Percy and Mary Hazelwood and is survived by his brother Victor Hazelwood (Lena) of Port Perry, brother-in-law Mervin Byers of Mattawa and brother-in-law Frank McCrory of Ancaster. Predeceased by brother Norman (Fran) and sisters Agnes McCrory, Olive McGregor (Charles) and Ruth Byers.
Loved brother-in-law of Stanley – deceased (Carol), Reggie (wife Shirley-deceased), Ray (wife Marion – deceased), Rawleigh (Beverly), Connie, Carolyn (Wayne).
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Mattawa Lions Den,175 Brook street, Mattawa. Visitation is at 11:30am prior to service.
Interment of ashes at Pinehill Cemetery, Mattawa, followed by a luncheon at the Golden Age Club, 464 Poplar Street, Mattawa Ontario.
