Marion Emily Jamieson (née Kerr)




After a prolonged illness passed away at the North Bay General Hospital, early Monday morning, May 20th, 2024 in her 93rd year.


She was predeceased by her youngest son Robert in 2003 and her husband Wilmer in 2004. A loving mother to Charlene Soucie (Bernie) and son, Bill Jamieson (Alice). She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Chad (Mark) and Craig Wolfe (Todd) and Leo (Ana), Katelynn and Bill Jr. Jamieson. Survived by one sister, Irene, and three brothers, Bill (Helen), Ted (Chris) and Allan Kerr (Betty). In total she had 55 nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her many friends at Cassell Arms and the PSWs that met her needs.


Public visitation will be at the Martyn Funeral Home, on May 27th, 12-2pm. The service will take place from 2-3pm with a reception to follow. Her burial will take place on May 28th at 2 pm at the Callander Union Cemetery on Mountain Road. Desired donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society at this time would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
