Please share a memory of Anita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

CHASE, Anita Louise

January 19, 1957 – May 10, 2024

Anita Chase passed away peacefully at home after a long illness, with her devoted husband and soulmate, Ted, at her side. She was predeceased by her parents, Lomer and Jeannine Mantha.

She is mourned and will be missed by her loving daughter Kathryn LeSarge (Nate); her stepchildren Mindy Goode (Steve) and Jeremy Chase (Karey); her siblings Michelle Bain (Bill), Jocelyn Anawati (Jean), John Mantha (Beryl) and Danny Mantha (Michelle); her step-grandchildren Evia, Jordyn and Griffin; and her nine nieces and nephews and their families.

Anita was a caring and skilled Registered Nurse for more than 40 years, including many as a Unit Leader at NBRHC. Her dedication and deep commitment to her profession were greatly appreciated and much admired by her patients and by the nursing staff and the many doctors with whom she worked.

In strict accordance with her wishes, she has been cremated and there will be no visitation, funeral service or celebration of life. Special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Jinnah and Dr. Galema.

If you knew Anita and remember her fondly, the best way to honour her life is to continue to support or donate to any worthy cause or charity of your choosing.
