Deepest Sympathies to the entire Chapman family. I was friends with Tyler for a long time when I moved out to Trout Lake to begin high school and later when I switched careers. I always remember Carolynn and Rayburn as they were such nice people who would do anything for you, even if you just wanted a free Pepsi. Sorry to see her go but at least now she will be reunited with her husband.

Dear Murray, Kori, Tyler and all of the Howe/Chapman family, we were so sorry to learn from our cousin Doris of the passing of dear Carolynn. We have many wonderful memories shared with Carolynn at Beth/Herb's home and in our home with our parents. Carolynn taught Christine to swim as a child! She was supportive to me and my sister when our parents passed and she and I carried on emails until her health issues. We always got smiles, laughs, and hugs when we were in the London Life office . She was smart, funny, caring and so happy to have had a family with Ray and the family Ray brought into her life. I am so sorry I missed her visitation and funeral. We send prayers and good thoughts to you all and to let you know how fortunate we feel to have had her in our life. Blessings, peace, and comfort are wished for you all. Love Christine and Janet Coates xoxo

Well first and foremost, it is with great sadness that we extend our sincere condolences to Kori, Tyler and Murray and to all our family really; sorry for our loss. There will be few days that pass that we won’t miss Carolynn. For in our very close family, she was a huge part. My mom was Auntie Joyce to Carolynn. You see, I was born in North Bay in 1954 and our family moved to Toronto in 1960. But as an adult, I had the pleasure of bringing mom back to NB to visit each summer. Usually she would stay with Aunt Beth (Carolynn’s mom) and shortly after arrival it would be off to Carolynn’s & Ray’s for fun on Trout Lake, swimming & boating; sometimes water skiing. Whether we were playing on the beach or sitting on the deck watching the kids jumping on the trampoline, Carolynn was always so happy and such a pleasure to be around. I always remember how easy she was to talk to. Ray was no different; what a great guy. Very easy going and seemed a perfect match for Carolynn. Of course, cousin Murray would be in charge of the BBQ detail. I’ll never forget, Murray could burn those burgers just the way everyone loved them. I was fortunate enough to have phoned Carolynn a few weeks ago to see how she was doing. Never would she complain of her obvious struggles, always her cheerful old self. But she would ask all about our new grand babies and stuff. I remember thinking that she had a real interest in the things that truly mattered in life. She had it figured out. When I think of my cousin Carolynn, I think she had a great life, well lived, and very well loved but I really wish she could have had more time with us. We love you forever, Carolynn.
