Dear Wendy and family
Our family was saddened to hear about the recent passing of Doug. We wish you much strength today and in the future. We are so very thankful to have the privilege of creating new family memories at this special place which you both called home for so many years.
In honour of Doug, we still have his chair resting in the corner of the sunroom to take in this familiar view.
Take care and God bless,
Andrew and Marcella Mulder

My brother Doug was, LOVING , ADVENTUROUS, & VERY COURAGEOUS.
I have very cherished memories as a young child looking forward to him coming home for the weekend, from Camp Borden after joining The Canadian Armed Forces. He would hitchhike home in his uniform looking so handsome.
He always had many stories to tell of all the weeks
happenings. ( I’m not sure if they were all true or well embellished) but they were very exciting to me.
You will always be in my heart bro.
Love always Sheila

I remember Doug and Wendy when myself and Jean Blanchard use to use their road to get to the girls camp. He was a kind gentle bear who enjoyed everyone they met .

I worked for Doug in the RCAF in 1974 and he was one of the fairest supervisors you could find. He was not only my boss but we formed a friendship that carried on after his release from the military. Unfortunately a military transfer drew us apart and I regret not having made more of an effort to stay in touch. RIP Doug and thank you for your service. You will be missed by many. Condolences to Wendy and family.
