Obituary of Ann Rolande White
WHITE, Rolande Ann (Nee Aubut)
Surrounded by her loving family, Ann passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023. Ann was 88 years old. Loving mother of James White (Sue), Tracy Menard and her husband Roger both from North Bay, and Cindy Grylicki (Sid) of Whitby. Ann was the beloved wife to her true love Reginald James White for 64 wonderful years who passed away in 2018. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Alexandra Barber (nee Menard) (husband Marcus Barber) and Taylor Menard (wife Katie Buckley), her two beautiful great grandchildren Remington and Brooks Barber. Ann was predeceased by her parents Archie and Rolande (Rolley) Aubut, her brother Ronald (Pun) of Callander, and Dianne Whyte. Survived by siblings Gilbert Aubut (Cecile), Marg Restoule of Nipissing and Emilie Giroux (Marcel) of Callander. Ann worked for many years at the Bake Shop at Food City and Sobeys. Family would like to thank Dr. Rebekah King, special companion Margaret Dament and all the staff of Eastholme Home for the Aged, North 2 for the loving care they provided to Ann over the past two years. Special heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses from the North Bay Regional Health Care Centre, A3, for the compassionate end of life care provided to Ann, in particular nurses Don, Tyler, Kasey, Colette and Lala.
Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday, December 29th from noon until 2 PM followed by a funeral service in the Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation and interment of ashes in the family plot at the Forest Lawn Cemetery will follow in the spring. If desired, donations to Eastholme Home for the Aged or the Northern Cancer Research Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
